The result is a more uniform and flatter seam for a more professional looking project. It also helps eliminate breaking of metallic, polyester and invisible threads!

Thread Director and cross wound thread.

I really like the way cross wound threads come off the spool so smoothly. I have been using it not only for metallic threads but also cotton and polyester threads. I have a professional machine. Although it fits nicely on my thread winder post I am thinking of trying it on my upright posts.
